La Caldera: Music Tomorrow Today
— Radio Show for Web Radio WPS1
"La Caldera" - the mouth of a volcano,
from which pours the hot lava. The sound of the Latin American soul —as
selected by Buenos Aires native, composer Laura Andel, who plays traditional
folk music to the latest computer music, and all shades in between. Listen
to the show at wps1.org, either live
or on demand.
Web Radio WPS1
WPS1 is the first radio initiative by
an art museum. An additional "wing" of P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center, a
MoMA affiliate, this station will reach out to international audiences
and provide exciting and unique programming that extends the scope of P.S.1's
exhibitions. This initiative represents a one-of-a-kind approach to museum
education and to audience development that combines innovative musical
programming with engaging forums for dialogue. All radio programs are archived
each day at http://www.wps1.org/
