The Stone is a new artists' space in the East Village, a not-for-profit performance space dedicated to the experimental and avant-garde.
Each month a different musician is responsible for curating the programs with 100% of the nightly revenue going directly to the musicians.

Percussive, intimate, visceral, ritual, and electrically charged, this music explores the tension points and internal pulses, glimpses and gestures in a non-narrative world. A night of all new music written by Argentinean composer Laura Andel for 10 musicians and conductor, I n : : t e n s i o n : . was just premiered by her newly created ensemble, the electric percussive orchestra as part of the Roulette Concert Series for Winter 2004 at Location One in New York city.
