• Radio
Program!
As of April 21st, 2004, I'm hosting a new web-radio program as part of
the PS1/MoMA Art Radio. The show is called La Caldera, and is
part
of the series Music Tomorrow Today.I designed this program as a
space to unveil part of what’s happening in the Latin American music
scene,
playing from traditional folk musics to the latest computer music, and
all shades in between. Additional information about each show can be
found
at La Caldera page. Also, check out the wps1.org
website to listen to the show, either live or on demand.

Omi International Musicians' Residency Program
Each August, approximately a dozen musicians-composers and performers
from
around the globe gather for two and a half weeks to share in a
unique
collaborative music making residency program. I was the Music Curator
in
Residence for this residency program for August 2004. Everyone accepted
to Music Omi receives full room and board during his or her stay. Check
the Music Omi website
for
more information and details on how to apply for 2006.

would
like to have a one on one listening session or analysis of your music.
It could either happen if you live in the New York city area, or in one
of the cities that I will be visiting during 2004.

Travels!
A
MiniDisc recorder, a notebook, a photo camera, and a nomad searching
soul
in the Central American realms... I'll be travelling from July 1 until
mid-September to 8 different countries, starting in Mexican Yucatan and
going all the way south to Nicaragua —off to record, write and
photograph
what surrounds me during the trip to then mold all those elements into
a new being. Check back for updates!
• Open
to collaborations I'm
open to any kind of artistic collaborations and experimentation in
music
or other arts. I'm also open to discuss any ideas, specially
adventurous
ones. If you are interested, please send me an e-mail!
